Our farm is located in Turlock, California on a lovely 2 acre plot of land. In addition to growing delicious, seasonal produce, we raise chickens, sheep and pigs; and our sweet farm dog, Cosmo, runs around all day greeting visitors at the gate and hunting gophers.
Our farming philosophy is pretty simple: let nature do what it was intended to do. This means, we don't till our land, we don't add synthetic fertilizers, we don't use pesticides or herbicides; we try our best not to disturb the natural process and soil biology here on our land. We use compost that we create here on our farm, it includes garden and yard scraps, our livestock manure, wood chips and cardboard. When we need to purchase compost because we don't have enough, we make sure it is OMRI listed. ALL of the seeds we use are heirloom, which means non-GMO. So most of the crops we grow have a really cool story behind them and have been grown for hundreds of years!
We love it here, and we'd love to have you come visit!
We have 2 seasons for our CSA program: Spring/Summer (22 weeks) and Fall (8 weeks). Members receive weekly boxes of freshly picked produce, all grown on our farm. You can pick your box up from our farm every Friday. You have the option to add on a fresh flower bouquet, grown here on our farm.
Each week, members will also have the ability to add on local pastured meat/eggs and locally roasted coffee from our partners, which we'll include in your Friday boxes.
Sign up for our virtual farm stand! We'll email you at the end of each week with any extra produce and/or flowers we may have. You can also order pastured eggs, meat and/or coffee from our local partners.
We're very excited to have teamed up with The Steward Sustainable Farm & Six:Eight Coffee Roasting, both local, family owned businesses. We will be offering our CSA Members & virtual farmstand subscribers the ability to add on these wonderful products to their weekly boxes or orders.
Throughout the season, we have monthly Saturday Farmstands where you can stop by our farm gates to purchase our goods. We also host seasonal open farm events, so stay posted for those!
